Proximity Switch Laser Trimming Machine
Laser resistor trimming was realized by locating a very thin laser beam on thin or thick film resistor (radium cutting resistor), and the beam cuts the resistor according to a predetermined program to change the cross-sectional area of the resistor thus changing its resistance. While a resistor is cutting by the laser beam, the on-off level signal of proximity switch is measured in real time through a high-speed measurement system. When the proximity switch reaches the required switching level, the laser beam turns off so as to realize precise adjustment of resistance.
